Supplemental Instruction
What is SI?
- Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a series of weekly study sessions for students taking specific classes.
- SI is for all students who want to improve their understanding of course material.
- Attendance is voluntary.
- SI is a time to get together with people in your class to compare notes, discuss important concepts, develop strategies for studying the subject, and to test yourself before the professor does.
- An SI Leader guides you through the material.
- Specific class SI schedules are available in the Penji app. This is a free app you can find in your app store. Access is also available in the EDUC 310 course in Canvas. Please contact us if you have trouble accessing SI session schedules.
